Python accessories, peep-toe booties, and gladiator sandals have become wardrobe must-haves for trendy women this year, but it seems that with the recent hippie revival fashion forward fashionista's have been trying to revive hippie headbands as well. Can this 1960s throwback look really be the next chic trend? Are hippie headbands the current it fashion accessory? Nicole Richie has always loved [and worn] the look, Mischa Barton has been sporting them a lot lately and I adored the one Stephanie Pratt donned [a hippie-luxe headband] on Season 3 of the Hills so needless to say I've been on a one-woman-search to find the perfect boho-glam headband. These hippie chic headbands worn around the forehead look best with textured tousled hair, but if you want that chic 70's flower child look like Mary-Kate and Lindsay Lohan, straighten with a flat iron. Also I love the braided and beaded headbands, especially how my dear friend Courtney wears them almost everyday.. She's a modern day hippie, but with an edge and I'm loving it.
