Rising Stars

I've been trying to keep my eyes open to all new fashionista's that have caught my eyes, and most of the rising stars out of Hollywood are lackluster and catch my eye in a bad way. But these fellow fashionista's future shines bright, and their style is definitely lust worthy! First up is Ashley Tisdale. I am not a fan of High School Musical, never seen it and since I am twenty one years old it doesn't really interest me. [but I hear all about it from my boyfriend and as Margaret Cho said on Sex and the City 'I use the term boyfriend loosely as clearly he is a homosexual'] But Ashley's style is interesting, and she seems like a real sweet girl, very into fashion so I love that about her. Definitely gonna keep my eye out for her in 2009. Second, is Emma Roberts. Emma comes from Hollywood royalty. Being the daughter of Eric Roberts and the niece of Julia Roberts definitely has its advantages. I remember my younger sister used to love watching her show on Nickelodeon, Unfabulous and thought it was a cute show. She has evolved into a stylish teenager and she proves that you don't have to strip down, or date someone so much older that can go to jail because yeah... it's a felony, sorry Miley. Thirdly is Selena Gomez. Selena the newest Disney darling, she is a sweetheart with such a sophisticated style for a girl her age. She sings, acts, dances... She maybe the newest Jennifer Lopez. And she is after all named after Tejano superstar Selena. So I know her career is promising and so is her style, she is turning into quite the fashionista. Fourth is Freida Pinto. Freida has been captivating audiences and critics [which is hard to do] everywhere with her charm, beauty and over all talent. If you haven't yet seen Slumdog Millionaire where have you been? It is a magnificent movie that deserves every nomination. And one of its stars Freida has been a red carpet regular this award season and she is winning over all of the fashion critics as well! Hope to see much more of her!

Fifth is Ginnifer Goodwin.

I am sure you've all seen her in small roles like Win a Date with Tad Hamilton with Kate Bosworth, or Mona Lisa Smile with Kirsten Dunst, Julia Roberts, and Maggie Gyllenhaal. But she is also on the hit show Big Love on HBO with Chloe Sevigny. She is on the rise, and she's caught my stylish eye with her wardrobe choices. Definitely want to see more of her!

Sixth is Amanda Seyfried. Most of us have seen Mamma Mia, and loved it! What's not to love about it? Gorgeous Greece, the wonderfully talented Meryl Streep, and the handsome Dominic Cooper all rolled into a music fun fest. If anyone one of us thought that one of the girls from Mean Girls would be in that movie I am sure we'd say Rachel McAdams but who knew Amanda could sing and sing well! Her red carpet premiere dresses are sweet [and safe] but given time I know all these lovely ladies will eventually find their own style to rock.
