A couple of things everyone should know about Texans...
1. We eat, breathe, sleep football [all of my family members are die hard Cowboys fan]. Football is practically religion here.
2. We love our sweet tea [some call it Texas oil].
3. We are proud people.
So speaking of proud, Katy Perry sings about 'California Gurls', but it's really all about Texas girls.
We love our cowboy boots, daisy dukes, and especially our heels! I can't tell you how many times in high school it would be freezing cold [and by freezing I mean 50° and above, were from the south were not used to cold weather!] and girls would still be strutting their stuff in heels.
So to prove my theory, I've gathered a few of my favorite southern fashionista's to prove that Texas girls are unforgettable.
Did you notice that the 2nd picture in all of the collages are of the ladies wearing cowboy boots?
Not a coincidence!
Cowboy boots are so comfortable, Texas girl or not I think every girl should own a pair.

I owned three pairs of vintage cowboy boots. They were a BIG craze in LA about six years ago. I still love them, but its WAY too hott out here for them! I may have to grab myself another pair though!
Great post as always Texans girls do have their place but us London girls shouldn't be forgotten just because we're across the Atlantic ;)

Haven't worn cow"girl" boots in a while but I used to and maybe I need to go back and get on that horse again! I had a really sweet looking pair years ago that my niece talked me out of..hmmm, I wonder if she still has them? I've never met a southern woman who doesn't ooze charm, fun and just plain good common sense!

I am a Texas girl - born and raised - and you are absolutely right about everything you said about Texas! My dad loves the Cowboys; he even bought a new big screen television for the football season. The pictures look absolutely fabulous!

Cowboy boots are indeed very comfortable, surprisingly so, actually.
honestly i am not a fan of the cowboy boots, i think there can be much more flattering shoes on peoples feet... but these girls are fashionable, no doubt about it
